Military and Civilian Children Create Illustrations

Here are the wonderful kids who responded to my invitation to participate in one of two "Illustrators' Days" in April 2008. Drawings were selected for the book based on how well the artists captured the spirit of the text and the way they used color and space to create interesting and vibrant pictures. The names of all participants are listed in the back of the book. Children whose illustrations were chosen for the book have the page number of their drawing listed after their names.
